About HEIC to JPG

HEIC to JPG converts HEIC files into JPG. HEIC is Apple's high-efficiency photo format used by default on iPhone, which many non-Apple apps cannot open, which makes it good for storing iPhone photos compactly. JPG is a lossy format that discards some detail to reach much smaller file sizes, with no transparency support, so converting is worth doing when you need photographs and images with smooth colour gradients.

Everything runs locally in your browser using standard web APIs — nothing is uploaded, queued, or stored on a server. Your files never leave your device, so there is no privacy trade-off, no file-size limit imposed by an upload, and no waiting for a round trip. It also means the tool keeps working on a slow or intermittent connection, and there is nothing to delete afterwards.

How to use HEIC to JPG

  1. 1Choose your file. Drag in a HEIC file, or click to browse from your device.
  2. 2Adjust the options. Set any quality, size or formatting options the tool offers to match what you need.
  3. 3Download the result. Save the finished JPG file — no account, watermark, or email required.
