6. No financial, legal, tax, medical or professional advice
UK tax rules, HMRC thresholds, lender rates, medical calculations, and other inputs change regularly. While we try to keep formulas up to date, we cannot guarantee accuracy at any time.
7. Intellectual property

The Service may display ads from Google AdSense and links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or policies of those sites. Interactions with advertisers (e.g., purchases, clicking links) are between you and the advertiser.
9. Disclaimers — Service is provided "AS IS"
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CALCCURA PROVIDES THE SERVICE "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY — INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE IS UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

- Any decision or action you took (or failed to take) based on Content from the Service
Total aggregate liability of Calccura for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of £100 GBP or the amount (if any) you paid to use the Service in the previous 12 months.
EEA / UK consumer notice: Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA or UK, you benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence — this section does not affect those rights.
11. Consumer rights (EEA, UK, Switzerland)
If you are a consumer (using the Service predominantly for personal, family, or household purposes) and resident in the EEA, UK, or a jurisdiction with similar protection, the following applies in addition to your statutory rights:
- The 14-day cooling-off period for distance contracts does not apply: by its nature the Service supplies digital content that is immediately made available upon first access, and the service is provided free of charge.
- You may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform to resolve disputes — we do not participate in any ADR scheme, but disputes raised via ODR will be answered.
- There is no mandatory applicable trade, industry, or professional code of conduct for the calculators provided on the Service.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Calccura and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
13. Availability & changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We also reserve the right to update these Terms; the "Last updated" date shows the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage. Your continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
If you reside in the EEA and the changes materially disadvantage you, you may terminate your use of the Service without penalty within 30 days of the change being posted.
14. Privacy & data processing
Any personal data we process about you is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. By using the Service you consent to such processing as is described in the Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.
15. Governing law & disputes
- These Terms are governed by English law.
- The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute arising from the Service.
- EEA consumers: Notwithstanding the above, if you are a consumer resident in the EEA, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your Member State of habitual residence.
- Consumers resident in other jurisdictions may also have protection under mandatory local law.
16. Termination & suspension
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service (including any account) at our reasonable discretion if:
- You materially breach these Terms and the breach cannot be cured, or you fail to cure it within 14 days of notice.
- We are required to do so by law or by a regulator, court, or third-party service provider.
- Your use creates a risk of legal liability or abuse for Calccura or other users.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections 9, 10, 12, 15, 17 and 18 survive termination.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. To the extent permissible, the unenforceable provision will be interpreted to reflect the original intent of the parties as closely as possible.
18. Entire agreement
These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Disclaimer) constitute the entire agreement between you and Calccura relating to the Service. There are no oral or written understandings, representations, or warranties outside these documents.
